The Opening sequence is extremely cold and dull.This is perfect for the film due to its extremely Gothic and depressing qualities.The whole sequence stays to a very rustic feel and only uses the colours blue,black and white.This conveys and extremely cold and hostile mood within the sequence.My favourite part is the snow used at the end. I like this because it disorientates the audience.The music used is extremely floaty and chimey. This has alot of contrast to the sequence and gives the idea that not everything is as dark as it seems.
